Sister Switch

Buddy: “I heard Mom and Dad say they’ll be taking me to the vet again.”
Annie: “What for?”
Buddy: “Something about worms but I don’t have worms.”
Annie: “Check your poop?”
Buddy: “Yep, no worms. They said I had ‘em in my heart or something.”
Annie: “Can’t check there.”
Buddy: “Nope. I don’t want to go to the vet. It didn’t go so well the last time.”
Annie: “Yeah, they flipped your sister switch.”
Buddy: “My what?”
Annie: “Your sister switch.”
Buddy: “I don’t know what that is. All I know is the vet took my junk.”
Annie: “They had to take that out so they could flip your sister switch.”
Buddy: “I don’t have one of those.”
Annie: “Do too.”
Buddy: “Do not.”
Annie: “Really? So, would you like to go out with me sometime?”
Buddy: “Naw.”
Annie: “Why not.”
Buddy: “Well…you see…it’s like this…”
Annie: “Like what?”
Buddy: “It’s like your my…”
Annie: “Say it. Say it.”
Buddy: “It’s like your my sister.”
Annie: “See? They flipped your sister switch. You used to find me attractive.”
Buddy: “I don’t remember that at all! Yuk!”
Annie: “That happens too. You’ll forget things. Pretty soon you’ll forget that your a dog. You might even think your a cow and start eating grass.”
Buddy: “Shut up!”
Annie: “Have you been eating grass?”
Buddy: “Shut up!”
Annie: “Heh heh heh, Buddy thinks he’s a cow. That’s hysterical!”
Mom: “Annie!”
Annie: “What?”
Mom: “Stop teasing Buddy.”
Buddy: “Mom, Annie said I was a cow!”
Mom: “That ridiculous. Cows eat grass. You haven’t been eating grass, have you?”
Buddy: “Little bit.”
Mom: “Oh, see that’s not good.”
Annie: “Told ya.”
Buddy: [whispers] “Shut up!” [to Mom] “Why is that not good?”
Annie: “Here it comes.”
Buddy: [whispers] “Shut up!”
Mom: “It’s probably because your tummy’s upset.”
Annie: [whispers] “Or you think you’re a cow.”
Buddy: “Shut up!”
Mom: “Don’t tell me to shut up.”
Buddy: “I meant Annie…I was telling her to…she said I was a cow.”
Mom: “She’s teasing you because she likes you, Buddy. Kind’a like a sister.”
Buddy: “Uh-oh. You don’t think…”
Annie: [whispers] “Yeah, the vet must’a flipped her sister switch too.”
