Transition

Due to her health issues, Mumford was incontinent and thus, we had piddle pads everywhere. She tried. She really did, but most of the time she just couldn’t make it to the door. After she left, the piddle pads were a painful reminder of her sweet character. We left them down mostly for Buddy as part of the transitioning process. Maybe for us too. A little. I suppose. We picked them up one at a time every day or so and we are now down to two. We’ve been down to two for a while. Someday.

Just little things that don’t mean nothin’ to nobody but us, perhaps.
